Snake River Stampede Inducted Into ProRodeo Hall of Fame

In 2014, long-time Stampede secretary Jimmie Hurley nominated Nampa's Snake River Stampede for the prestigious Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame and the nomination was approved by the Hall.

"We feel that going into the ProRodeo Hall of Fame is the highest honor we can receive as a professional rodeo and we were extremely excited to be included, along with a select group of other top rodeos, for the Hall of Fame" she says. "I promised myself and the board of directors, I wouldn't quit until I got the Stampede inducted into the hall."

The induction ceremony was held at the headquarters of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association on the grounds of the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Representing the Stampede at the induction ceremony were: left to right, Dan Ward, Ken Nicodemus, Jeff Agenbroad, Jimmie Hurley and Dean Oliver.

This buckle and replica of the statue called The Champ were given to the Stampede at the induction ceremony in 2014.
