Mutton Busting is one of our most popular pre-rodeo events for children 5 to 7 years old and under 55 pounds. Look forward to seeing you in 2021!
All equipment is provided.
Prizes: Each participate receives a mutton busting buckle and the winner of each night receives a gift certificate for a pair of Justin Boots.
Admission: Two complimentary general admission tickets for Rider and parent/guardian
Fee: $25 if your name is drawn to participate
Registration begins next year on June 1st until July 5th at the following D&B Supply locations:
Riders drawn and notified: 2nd Week in July
Appearance: Long sleeved shirt, long pants and closed toed shoes (no bare arms, legs or toes) helmets and vests are required and provided by SRS.
Meeting Place: Arrive in Mutton Busting Room (top of the stairs near Entrance One where an attendant will give you clearance to go downstairs): 6:15 p.m. nightly; Saturday matinee 10:45 a.m.
