Your little one is sure to remember their first experience competing in the rodeo spotlight as they ride a sheep around the arena, trying to hang on for 8-seconds, just like their bull-riding heros. The child who’s able to cling on the longest each night wins a pair of Justin Boots!

The Snake River Stampede is thrilled to announce a unique Mutton Bustin' experience for children.

To enter your little cowboy or cowgirl into the lottery to compete in the Mutton Bustin’ event they must:

• Be between 5 to 7 years old
• Weight under 55 pounds
• Register online - form below
• Pay a $25 registration fee if name is drawn to compete
• Wear long sleeve shirt, long pants, and closed-toed shoes to the event
• Arrive ontime to the Mutton Busting Arrive Room (top of the stairs near Entrance One): 6:15 p.m. nightly; Saturday matinee 10:45 a.m.
• Wear the provided safety vest and helmet (provided by the rodeo)

• If selected, you will be notified between July 10-12th. 

Prize: All participants will receive a  mutton-busting buckle and the winner each night will receive a gift certificate for a pair of Justin Boots.
