In September, 2018, the Snake River Stampede Board of Directors hired Curtis Homer as the first General Manager of the rodeo. The rodeo originated in 1915, in Nampa, Idaho. Curtis has been a volunteer with the rodeo for many years, serving as a committee person and then as a director since 2011. Curtis enjoyed a career in law enforcement for 33 years.
Curtis manages the office, works directly with the board of directors and executive committee on the day to day operations of the rodeo. Curtis works closely with local and state government officials and oversees the security and parking for the event.
Lynn Calvin is contracted by the rodeo to manage marketing and sponsorships. Lynn has been working with our rodeo for many years and also works with the Stampede for the Cure, the program that raises awareness and funding for breast cancer.
